Aerial is a circus acrobatic sport using fabric and bar apparatuses to dance in the air. Silks, sling, trapeze, and lyra/hoop are the four apparatuses offered at SOCC.

It’s not as scary as you think! Aerial is suitable for all bodies, all levels. You don’t have to be a super fit gymnast or dancer to be an aerialist. Your teacher will welcome you warmly and make sure your first tricks feel totally doable.

100% yes. Aerial is for anyone. All bodies, all ages, all levels of fitness.

Zippers, sequins, and jewelry are strictly prohibited. Permanent jewelry must be taped.
Choose tight fitting clothes that you can move in. You will most likely be turning upside down, so loose shirts are not advised. We recommend thighs and knees are covered by fabric. You will wear socks or bare feet during aerial classes.

Aerial classes have 3-12 students (2 per rig point).
Floor classes have 3-15 students.

Open Gym is supervised independent training time for experienced aerialists. Students must pass a safety and skills assessment to attend. If you think you’re ready for open gym, contact us here.
Private lessons are also a great way to train outside of group classes. Inquire about a private here.

SOCC is not registered as a 501c nonprofit with the IRS. However all profits are reinvested back into the company to keep classes running safely and continue adapting to serve our community,

Yes, SOCC does offer venue rental. You can book our 6,000 sq ft carpeted space for rehearsals, performances, or events. No alcohol or drugs are permitted on premises.
